Each region in the Coral Triangle is unique in above and below water diversity. Some areas like the Banda Sea or the Komodo Islands are more suitable for a Liveaboard due to the distance between dive sites and the need for current-oriented dive planning. Other regions of the Coral Triangle offer a mixture of Land-based Resort and Liveaboard adventures, while others, such as the Sangalaki Archipelago in East Borneo are suitable only for Land-based Resorts.
